Solo Exhibition "Pisa dai mille volti" - "Dalle Apuane al mare" - Pisa
From 3 to 30 September 2019 I will held a solo exhibition at 'Angolo di Borgo' - Foto Ottica Allegrini, in Borgo Stretto 49, Pisa.
The first series is 'Pisa dai mille volti/The thousand faces of Pisa' (3-15 September 2019).
"You always think to know it, but a moment later it shows you a new face. Pisa is like this: among squares full of history, narrow alleys and elegant Lungarni, the city is able to surprise you, with its lights and shadows, every day once again. The photographic journey makes a stop in the famous and miraculous square, passing through more or less known spots of the city center: from Piazza dei Cavalieri to Logge di Banchi, from Piazza dell'Arcivescovado to Ponte Solferino... with a special consideration for games of light/shadow and "adverse" weather conditions."
The second series is 'Dalle Apuane al mare/From Apuan Alps to the sea" (16-30 September).
"The magnetic charm of the stormy sea, driven by the winds of Libeccio and Ponente, the magic of wildlife at dawn inside the San Rossore natural Park, the colors' explosion of the rapeseed, poppies and sunflowers fields in Spring and Summer, the miracle of the Moon which is renewed day after day, the imposing setting of the Pisan Mountains and the Apuan Alps that watch over the Pisan plain. The city of Pisa enjoys an enviable position, a step away from a priceless naturalistic and landscape heritage."

My architectural shot 'Blue', taken in the inner courtyard of Palazzo Giuli Rosselmini Gualandi (known also as Palazzo Blu) in Lungarno Gambacorti - Pisa - has been featured with a brief presentation at page 23 of the December Issue of Practical Photography Magazine, a UK leading publication about photography.
Mission Earth - Exhibition at the UN Headquarters, New York
My photo, selected among 1300 images at the 'Mission Earth' contest, will be exposed with other 29 images at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
The premiere will be held 10th October by our Ambassador Sebastiano Cardi and by the Univerde Foundation President Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio.

My photo 'A thousand lives' has been published at page 52 in Sky One Magazine in an article about SIPA 2016.
The photo received a 'Remarkable Award' in the past edition of the contest.
Unfortunately the caption of my photo (the one on the left) and of the one on the right (by Roberto Taglianti, 3rd place in category Architecture) have been inverted.

From Monday November 28 to Saturday December 17 will take place my first solo exhibition.
A series of b&w minimal photos will be exposed in Libreria Pellegrini, via Curtatone e Montanara n°5, Pisa, Italy.
Saturday December 3, 6 pm, opening aperitif inside the library.

One of my photos has been exposed at Palazzo Orlando, Livorno, from 13th to 28th May 2016.
The photo has been selected with other 39 images in the contest Guarda LI: Obiettivi per la città organized by the Order of Engineers of Livorno, with the patronage of the Comune di Livorno, the association Lions Livorno Host and FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano).

"Secret code": from Pisa to Venice Biennale - Crowdfunding campaign
My crowdfunding campaign in Kickstarter to collect funds to expose during the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016.
The Global Art Affairs Foundation has officially invited me to display my photos during a great architectural exhibition in Palazzo Mora, during the six months of the Venice Biennale (from 28th May to 27th November).
A great part of the financial amount required will be covered by the European Cultural Centre, while the Foundation will take care of photos' printing and shipment to Venice.
I still need a big amount to cover all costs related to the presentation.

Lens Culture Editors' Pick - Presence-absence in Architecture
My project "Presence-Absence in Architecture" has been featured in editors' picks. The purpose of the project is to present this dualism through some architectural examples that show how the human figure can be invisible, making the architecture almost abstract, detached from human component, or might be perceived even if not directly visible, up to the manifest presence. But even if manifest, the human presence finishes to merge with the architecture and blend with it, in a last attempt of the latter to rebel against its creator.
