Born in Piacenza, Italy, in 1985, but pisan by adoption (my mother is from Marina di Pisa), I fell in love with photography relatively early, traveling in the wake of my uncles around France, Spain and Portugal. I started with a rickety old film camera, then I moved to digital reflex.
My photographs have always had a special consideration for architecture, and they are often linked with the human figure, without whom the structures would not exist.
Recently I'm focusing on nature and landscape phoography.
Exhibitions and awards
Invited by MINI (BMW) to Beijing, China, during the Design Week to follow the MINI Living Urban Cabin project, a housing solution designed to cope with overcrowdingin the big cites.
Collective exhibition 'Das Tier' at Galerie Christine Knauber, Berlin, with one of my images among the exhibited works.
'Raconte-moi ta ville' contest winner: invited as guest to the french city of Angers and solo exhibition of the winning series 'Snow and umbrella'.
Collective exhibition of 'Obiettivo Terra' selected images at United Nations headquarters in New York.
Honorable mention at the London International Creative Competition (LICC) 2016 in category Graphic Design/Professional.
Commended by the jury of Premio Eliana Lissoni, my photo is one of the five awarded images among 301 participants.
Finalist at SIPA 2016 with three images: one of them has received a 'Remarkable award' in category Architecture.
I received a honorable mention in category Architecture: Buildings at the International Photography Awards 2016 (IPA), at MIFA 2016 with the series ' Secret code' and a honorable mention in the same category at IPOTY 2015 (International Photographer Of The Year) with the series 'Living architectures'.
I have been awarded the 1st place in category "Visions" (focused on contemporary Milan) at "Milano 3x100" ( Tre scatti per 100 anni - Milano allora, ieri e oggi - Dedicated to Pigi Rabolini).
The contest, organized by the association "Chiamale Storie" and MEMOMI, had the patronage of the "Città metropolitana di Milano" and the Association of architects, planners, landscape architects and curator of Milan area, in collaboration with the foundation "Piccolo Teatro di Milano" and Archivi Alinari.
I have been awarded the 1st place in category Architecture: Buildings at MIFA 2015 and the 3rd place in the same category at ND Awards 2015.
I have been selected as commended photographer in top50 category Architecture at Sony Awards 2015.
I received a honorable mention in category Architecture at ND Awards 2014 and PX3 2014.
